Punch and JudyI recall a chilly, gray November day. A strange fair had opened in town which struck me as strange being so late into the air coupled with the fact that the air was frigid. Me and my brother Dave were descending the slanted hill overlooking the fair. Well.. If you can call it a fair. There was a rusty, broken-down carousel, a small white and black striped tent that looked like it was collapsing into itself, and a red cusioned chair that looked almost as if it were smashed into the ground and buried. But what really caught my attention was a puppet show booth, red and white checked bedcloth was drapen over a large wooden box. Ray and I finnall Punch and Judy

tapestry.i once had a beautiful tapestry. a few years passed and i noticed little strings were unraveling. small strands that seemed insignificant until pulled on. strands became unraveled gaps. the picture was no longer whole. pieces falling off. becoming distorted. the gaps put strain on the un-ruined parts. the pieces intact, started giving way. soon after my beautiful tapestry lay in a pile on the floor from where it once hung. strands. pieces. mess. tapestry.

thank you. i never really thought of my writing as poetry until i failed a writing assignment in the ninth grade. the teacher said it was poetry and not a story. heh.
